Glucky Kunst is a wake up call from a long dark winter marking the start of a bright and inspiring Summer! The exhibition brings together four artists who have known and worked alongside each other for many years. Working in painting, sculpture, drawing and collage, visually and conceptually complimenting and contrasting each other. They have an unspoken, unwritten, purely visual connection and each piece is a part of a single ongoing work.
Glucky Kunst will be evolving and travelling to other galleries and the Sprout Arts exhibition on the 21st of June marks the beginning of an exciting and creative journey.

The Sprout Arts Art on a Postcard Exhibition and Sale is back! We asked the community to get creative, inviting everyone and anyone over the age of 3 to get involved, by producing a unique piece of art on a blank postcard. This exhibition is the result of our creative community, showcasing original postcard sized artworks by local professional artists, amateurs and those who just dared to be creative! This is a fantastic chance to get your hands on original postcard sized works of art for a tiny price This unique exhibition brings hundreds of small format contemporary artworks to adorn the walls at Sprout Arts. With all work for sale, it's the perfect exhibition to discover an affordable treasure or present. Sprout Arts are busy 'Bringing art to life in Furzedown' for you to view, so what better way than taking the time to browse the exhibition and hopefully take home a miniature work of art that you love.

Penelope Aldrich - Acrylic and Oils
Enjoys creating work in both oils and acrylic. She seeks to convey her diverse love of art through a range of imagery as well as spending time creatively with her grandchildren.

Jacqueline Smalling - Textiles and Pastels
Jacqueline started knitting at the age of 5. She has gone on to create truly inspirational work, expressing herself through painting and drawing as well as a combination of other unique techniques.

Last year we loved hosting our very first Furzedown Affordable Art Show so much, we're doing it all over again!
