Jane Richards: "I am looking forward to showing my new ceramic designs in form and colour for 'Wheel and Easel' alongside the paintings of Val Coumont and Linda Latter'.
Jane studied Studio Pottery at Harrow School of Art. Having taught pottery she now has a studio in her garden and enjoys having the time to focus on her own practice, developing techniques and experimenting with glazes. Jane's ceramics are made on the wheel in porcelain and stoneware.
This new collection, created for 'Wheel & Easel' to sit alongside Val and Linda's paintings, include bowls, vases, bottles and platters - all decorated with surface texture, colourful slips and glazes.

Val Coumont: New pictures in this exhibition take their inspiration from an earlier period of Val's life spent in North Africa and recent walking on the Camino de Santiago de Compostella. Vl is a psychotherapist, who discovered a love of painting through a long membership with an art theropy group. For her, the process of making a picture creates an opportunity to absorb herself in the beauty of the subject, whether external or internal.

Linda Latter: In this exhibition, Linda is showing work that relates to her love of landscape and of the sea. She spent many years as an NHS Practice Councellor, working with groups of patients using arts & craft materials to encourage their well-being, self-confidence and re-engagement with others.
